Last year I had the opportunity to work with model/actor on his way to making it big. Darrell is an amazing person and I enjoyed brainstorming with him about shoots. I look forward to the next time I get a chance to work with Darrell.

24 Hour Fitness

Last year, I did a shoot for 24 Hour Fitness. I was book along side Heath Korvola. Heath was shooting former Biggest Loser winner, Ali Vincent, while I was shooting some generic photos that could be used in a later campaign.

A while back I hung out with Andy Andrews and his Photographers Practive Group at Tempe Town Lake. I brought out my lights and a couple models, Vanessa and Mma and shared some lighting knowledge with my fellow photographers.
The patient Ryan Conner was my test subject as I setup my lights.

Natasha

Natasha studied ballet for many years. This is one reason I was excited to work with her. Dancers are generally more natural in front of the camera. We headed out to Tempe Town Lake for some photos. I have to say Natasha was a trouper, suffering through the 110 degree weather. In the end it was all worth it.

Lately I’ve been doing model shoots. At the end of June I shoot with Stacy out at Papago Park. This was when we were having a huge brush fire in the west valley. The smoke was actually blocking out the sun and it was raining ash. Regardless, it was a fun shoot and I look forward to working with Stacy again.

It’s not quite the same as an American in Paris, but it was a fun time.

We broke up into smaller groups and hit the streets after dark with camera and lighting equipment in downtown Mesa.
