I’ve taken a lot of photos from my desk. There have been a many photos of the sky, clouds, sunsets and palm tree. It’s been a busy month and I’ve spent a lot of time in front of my computer editing photos for my portfolio book. Between that and several out of town guests, this month has flown by.

On this rare cloudy day, I think what I usually see out my window. My office window is on the 2nd floor and faces west. I’ve been taking photos out the window all year long. Most of them are sunset. Occationally I’ll see something a little different, like a rainbow.

I really like the view form my window. How’s your view?

The guys from Megafaun were planning on going camping up in Payson, before heading down to Tuscan for a show. I say were because their van broke down and was in the shop all day, so they ended up hanging around Phoenix and Tempe. We met up with them at Cartel Coffee Lab. Afterward they went to pick up their van and came back to the house to hang before we headed up to South Mountain. Arielle and I decided to use leftovers from the previous night to make burritos. With full bellies we headed up the mountain and arrived just before sunset. We all regrouped back at the house where the guys from Megafaun and Well Done Media headed down to Tuscan. While everyone was leaving they thanked Arielle and I for our hospitality and one of the guys said, “This has been the most normal day on our tour.” We were happy to have them and look forward to the next time our paths cross.

Tim and Helena of Well Done Media decided not to finish their cross counry trip following Megafaun, in San Francisco. On a whim, they decided to continue on to Phoenix.

Friday night we invited the guys from Megafaun over for dinner. The plan was to grab dinner then head out to First Friday. The dinner part happened without a problem, but we never made it out. We ended up relaxing at the house playing Rock Band.
