98.7 The Peak just added Chris & Amy to their morning show lineup. Austin, the Marketing Coordinator for the Peak, gave me a call to come out and shoot some promo photos. He was also kind enough to stand in while I got my lights setup.

Last year, I did a shoot for 24 Hour Fitness. I was book along side Heath Korvola. Heath was shooting former Biggest Loser winner, Ali Vincent, while I was shooting some generic photos that could be used in a later campaign.

Last month I went to a had the opportunity to shoot food for the first time in a while. I was inspired by my favorite food photographer and good friend, Michael McNamara. For the most part, I tried to keep it simple.

I love working with a good assistant. I get very focused on what’s in my frame when I’m shooting a big assignment. A good assistant helps me pull back and see things that I might miss. Last week I had to opportunity to work with my friend Jill. Another thing the assistant does is stand in for the models while you’re dialing in your lights.
